The excuse that DRMs are there to prevent piracy has been proven time and time again to be untrue. I think to be honest all DRM should be a log online once for authenticity and then be able to play without it after that. While I don't really care for nor am I against DRMs, you can't really have a go at someone making a point against them, if you have never had any communication problem with DRMs, I have had my share, mainly Uplay. So, I come here to ask, is there a mod to completely remove the login screen when first launching the game, much like liveless? Yeah well, it's the only authentication system (not that it stops cheaters, but whatever) This time around, in Grand Theft Auto V, it's much more engrained. Was as easy as removing the paul.dll from IV's directory.Īnd then you couldn't use Social club's online features. I've never, and I mean NEVER experienced ANY sort of issues as a result of any DRM/MP/communication service. I never really understood people's strong opposition to stuff like Steam, Origin, GFWL, Social Club and the like. it's that simple.Ībomination that is the Rockstar Social Club If you don't like the software, then don't buy or play the game.
